As Director of LeadChange, he focuses on the practical habits that shape conversations, decisions and how teams actually work together. His approach is direct, experiential and built to change what leaders do day to day.
He is the author of Leadership Uncomplicated, a guide for leaders to simplify leadership so teams work better and work keeps moving.
Martin's career spans finance, fast moving consumer goods and transport, working across Australia, Canada and Italy. He moved into consulting after seeing the opportunity to help leaders and organisations improve how work actually happens — not just through strategy, but through better leadership day to day. He later founded LeadChange to focus on this work more directly.
He has spent over 15 years working closely with organisations in mining and heavy industry, supporting improvements in safety culture and leadership. This work has been particularly rewarding — helping shift mindsets and behaviours, leading to more open conversations about risk and, most importantly, fewer injuries.
Martin brings insights from working with thousands of leaders and hundreds of organisations. These experiences have shaped his Leadership Uncomplicated philosophy — a practical approach focused on the few habits that make the biggest difference.
